What is Accreditation? | Print |
Accreditation is a voluntary process through which a medical transport service (rotor wing, fixed wing, ground critical care, ground ALS/BLS, or commercial medical escort) is certified by the Commission as substantially meeting accreditation standards.

Site Surveyors collect and verify information when they visit a program. This information is reported to the Board of Directors.

Accreditation decisions are the responsibility of the Board of Directors, not the site surveyors.
