There is a growing interest in safety culture especially in the healthcare and aviation professions. Effective tools to measure the safety culture of an organization are evolving and recently the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems created a safety culture survey based on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) “Survey on Patient Safety” – in 2009 and adapted this survey to the medical transport environment.
